The final took place at The Richmond club, Military D beat Shop Assistants 281 to 256, The presentation of the cups took place afterwards, most teams involved donated their prize money  to the league charity, Military D donated £50, Shop Assistants £40, Woolfy's Pack £25 and Ratbags £25 (did not attend) so a big thankyou to those teams. The only downside was that the food that had been ordered did not turn up!!!  Well done to all who took part in the summer competition and good luck in the forthcoming winter season if you are taking part.

16th Aug .... A 3 way play off took place at the Military Club to lose one section winner, the game was between Military D, Shop Assistants & Evans SC who were unfortunately the lowest score so go out.

The two semi final games will be held at the Railway Club on Wednesday the 21st, and will be as follows, Military D V Woolfy's Pack on Alley 2. And Shop Assistants V Ratbags on alley 1. Good luck to the four teams.

The final and presentation of cups, medals & highest season score will then be on Friday 23rd at the Richmond club. That will then end the summer season, well done to all that took part.

When the new Winter season starts in September there will be Bye's in Divisions 3 & 4. If the same situation exists next season (2025/26) the committee will look into creating a small competition in those divisions to use up the spare Fridays and to allow teams to be playing every Friday as in Div's 1 & 2. As for this coming season the committee encourage teams to maybe arrange friendly games on the spare Fridays.

Can all teams registered for the forthcoming Winter season please check the names they have registered as team members. Invoices will be sent out shortly and teams will be charged for the names showing for the team, so if there are players who will no longer be playing for you please remove the name, and add on any new players you may have found. This can all be done easily on this website.

A minimum charge for 14 players will apply. Once you receive your invoice please pay by BACS into the league account using 'your team name-W2024' as the reference.

NO CHEQUES please as the league is charged by the bank for dealing with these and this charge may be passed onto you.

ANYONE PARKING IN THE WELSH CLUB CAR PARK WILL NOW BE CHARGED £2 TO DO SO. A PRIVATE COMPANY HAS NOW TAKEN OVER THE RUNNING OF THE CAR PARK.

The game took place tonight at The Richmond Club between Dead Men Walking (winners of Div 3) and Tattibogoes (winners of Div 1) Tattibogoes won with a score of 354 against Dead Men Walkings score of 326. 

That ends the winter season for 2023/24, well done to all who took part in the season. Presentation Night where all the cups & trophies will be awarded along with food & a comedian is next Friday the 3rd of May. Tickets still available.

The semi finals and finals of the singles & pairs took place tonight at The Richmond Club. The scores are shown here with a picture of the board. well done to Des Stephenson for winning the Singles and to Derek, Chris & Will Smith for winning the Pairs.

The games took place last night (13th) at The Richmond Club, Tattibogoes played Ball Breakers in a semi final, Ball Breakers won 295 to 286. the second semi final was between Spare Bears & Mucking Fuddles, Mucking Fuddles won 294 to 273. The final then between Ball Breakers & Mucking Fuddles was won by Ball Breakers 275 to 270, The 3rd place game did not take place therefore that trophy will not be awarded. Well done to Ball Breakers for winning and to all the teams that took part in this competition.

The Man V Man cup final took place last night at the Richmond Club between Herefordians & The Con Men.

Herefordians won, 6.5 (game score 278) to Con Mens 3.5 (game score 256) Well done to both teams for getting to the final and to Herefordians for winning.

This seasons Front Pin final took place last night (12th) between Painters B & Tattibogoes.

Tattibogoes won 224 to Painters B 188.  This game also settles the trophy for Highest Score in the Front Pin competition, it goes to D Owens of Evans SC with a score of 47 in a previous game. Well done to all involved in the Cup.
