Lads Club

Winter team

Formed in 1976 playing at the Lads Club and proceeded through the divisions with five promotions before finishing runner up to Eignside in 1983 in their first season in Division 1. In that season they became the first team to beat Eignside on the Brewers Arms alley, this game also became the first skittles match to be announced on the recently formed radio station Radio Wyvern. During their successful period they also had a winning run of 15 consecutive matches. In 1999 they merged with Optimists to form Optimist Lads.
