Southend 'A'

Originally formed by apprentices working at Smart & Brown, Rotherwas, in 1966 playing at the Red Lion. Moved to the Plough playing on a Thursday for the next season then the Dukes Head on a Friday for one season before moving to the Sun Inn on a Thursday for two seasons. In 1971 they moved to the Bricklayers for one season then changed their name to Denco Southend when they moved to Denco Club on a Thursday evening for season 1972/73.
